Do Sanitary Pads Expire?

A lot of women experiment on different brands of sanitary pads. Of course they will go with whichever they feel comfortable using – thin over thick pads, with or without wings, scented or natural. Have you ever wondered of the shell life of your trusted sanitary napkin?

Ladies, unlike food items, you won’t find a “best before” date on the packaging of your napkins. That is because sanitary pads do not expire.

Let me quote this from Kotex, “as a paper product they do not ‘go bad’ and can be used indefinitely.”

Why do some napkins get yellowish?

Some products usually change colors, or adhesives won’t stick anymore. You will notice it in individually wrapped pads. No need to worry if you have actually put items like these in barcode scanners and paid for it. You can still use the pad. The color and adhesive does not affect the napkin’s quality.
